HAND-CUT SIGNS

No design is ever too complex.

Check out signs we’ve created for our clients, and let’s talk about bringing your idea or logo to life.

HAND-CUT COASTERS

It all started with custom coasters—but our wood-burned creations also look great as ornaments and magnets.

No order is too large or too small.

the process

Send us your design, or work with our professional designer to create a custom look you’ll love.

Then, we hand cut each coaster from fresh, quality New England branches—bark and all—and
heat a laser-etched, solid brass plate to 400 degrees to burn your design into the wood.

Finally, we painstakingly seal the wood with four coats of high-gloss lacquer for a lasting, quality
finish—providing you with a keepsake that looks great on a desk or under a drink.

the wood

Learn about some of the local varieties we gather and work with:

Maple

Maple is a common hard wood in the New England area, especially in our backyard. This highly decorative grain allows for beautiful, unique patterns to emerge.

Oak

Oak is one of the denser woods we use, known for its great strength and hardness. The beautiful and unpredictable grain markings make for an amazing variety of coloring.

Cedar

Cedar is chosen for its resistance to decay and warping in a variety of climates. The deep, vibrant coloring of cedar's grain creates a distinct effect when burned.

White Birch

White birch wood is fine-grained and pale in color, making it perfect for wood burning. The paper thin, unique bark of the birch makes it truly eye-catching.
